Lee Lynch Co-Founder
Born in Redding, California, Lee Lynch holds a BFA in Film from California Institute of the Arts and an MFA in Fine Art from the University of Southern California. Lee's films have shown at Sundance, Tribeca Film Festival, Rotterdam, FICUNAM, and the Marseille International Documentary Film Festival. His second feature film The Murder of Hi Good premiered at FID Marseille in France in 2012.
Thorbjorg Jonsdottir Co-Founder
Director Thorbjorg Jonsdottir holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Iceland Academy of Arts as well as a filmmaking degree from the California Institute of the Arts. Thorbjorg’s films have screened both in galleries and film festivals in Europe and the US. Her most recent film Time Like Water (2013) premiered at Jeonju International Film Festival. Thorbjorg lives and works in Los Angeles, California and Reykjavik, Iceland.
Karel Candi (1995) was born in Reykjavik and is currently receiving his bachelor’s degree in film studies at the University of Iceland. He has written and directed a total of 7 short films as well as working as a commercial videographer and educator. He has taught filmmaking at both the high school and elementary school levels. His cinema verite short "800 ár" premiered at the Miami Independent Film Festival 2016. Currently he is a co-teacher at Iceland's premiere experimental filmmaking program for young people aged 16 to 25 aptly titled; Teenage Wasteland of the Arts.
